Elections

The City of Corcoran administers city, state, and federal elections for its residents. Elections for City officials are held on even years. The City Clerk and administrative office staff are available to answer your questions about voter registration and election information. 

2026 ELECTIONS

Primary Election Day-- August 11, 2026
General Election Day --  November 3, 2026


Polls at each location will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m on Election Day.  Corcoran has three precinct locations including Corcoran City Hall, Hope Community Church and St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church. Your address determines your polling location. To determine your polling location visit https://pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us/.

Can I vote early?
Yes, in Minnesota, you can vote early with absentee ballot starting 46 days before Election Day. You can request an absentee ballot online for federal, state and county elections. Read about other options and more information about absentee and early voting by clicking on the link below.

Voter Assistance

Do you need assistance casting your ballot? Whether you are voting early, or voting on election day, be sure to ask the election judges for help. They provide support in many ways:

  • Reading or marking a ballot
  • Curbside voting
  • Obtaining a magnifying glass or chair to use at the voting booth
